"The course material was generous, very accessible and interesting visually. It was incredibly rich and dynamic. Lindsay's interpretations of Tarot in a soul-centered way helped me remove the fear of 'bad cards' or doing something wrong or being told that I'm bad or that I need to change." — Ruby

Wait — I thought you offered this course in the fall? What gives?

We are shifting it to the Spring from now on! From here on out, Tarot for the Wild Soul will start on March 21st.

Will this course be as effective as learning live, or in person?

Yes, it absolutely will! With pre-recorded videos, you get to flow and learn at your pace. They provide the ability to study and absorb the information at a pace that feels aligned for you. I specifically choose not to do this course "live," so that there can be more structure to the learning process. There are also a lot of card visuals in the videos, so you will be up close and personal with the symbolism!

What if I can't complete the course in eight weeks, or I am going away while you are teaching some of it?

Not a problem. The course is yours to keep forever, and you are welcome to watch the videos anytime you like.

Do we get access to the class materials after the course?

Yes! All class materials are yours to keep forever.

After I take your class, can I begin to offer the material you teach in readings and classes?

You are welcome to use this work as a foundation to your learning, to let it infuse into your knowing and provide you with a gateway to your own teachings. However, you may not lift, use, or claim that the work provided in this course is your own without credit to where you learned it.

I'm looking to learn deep history and origins on the Tarot. Will that be covered here?

Honestly, no. We will absolutely cover card theory in all of its forms, but will not go into the history and origins of the Tarot too much in this course.

What if I am using a different deck from the one you are teaching with? Does it matter what deck I use for this course?

You may use any deck you like for this course! I teach a "deckless" way of learning Tarot, which means that you can plug the teachings into any deck and have some kind of foundational root system. I use the Smith Rider Waite in my work, because I consider it to be the best backbone to hold the work -- we will, of course, discuss other decks during the course, too! Long story short, all decks are welcome.

Why do you use the Smith Rider Waite when aspects of it are so problematic?

Excellent question. Not everyone finds the SRW problematic, but for those who do, I truly honor and bow to your concerns. Representation matters immensely, and as the SWR is a deck of only white, able bodied folks, it is inherently problematic for those reasons alone. Here is why I choose to teach with it, along with other decks:

For me, honoring Pamela Colman Smith, a queer woman of color, who was the illustrator, artist, and co-creator of the Smith Rider Waite deck, is very important. In addition, from a practical point of view, the Smith Rider Waite is the backbone for almost all the decks in existence. If you understand the symbolism of the SRW, it is my belief you can understand and make light of almost any other deck. Like learning rigorous ballet in order to shift into modern dance, I believe that gaining perspective in this deck also allows us to evolve, shifting the meanings of the cards in a way that resonates for us. Learning the SWR also helps us to become more educated about the root system of certain card meanings, freeing us to change them to match a deeper truth for ourselves. It might not resonate for everyone, and I fully respect that, but as of this moment, I do believe that it is vital to utilize this deck in this course — even with its problematic aspects.

I am totally brand new to Tarot, and know absolutely nothing. Will this course be right for me?

100 percent, yes! It is the perfect course for someone new to Tarot.

I have been practicing Tarot for years. Will this course offer me anything new?

I believe it will. I am very proud to be a teacher who serves other readers and teachers. I teach Tarot in a way that is very unique. It is Tarot for the soul, and many of the interpretations and treatments of the cards that I teach are different from anyone else. You will most certainly gain new information and skills from this course, even if you are a seasoned professional!

Will I be memorized when I'm finished with this course?

If you take the time to drill into your cards, memorize them, practice with your fellow students, and keep up with your work, absolutely! Memorizing Tarot takes learning, then application --- if you apply what you've learned to practice readings, memorization is an absolutely possibility if you desire it to be!

Could I read Tarot professionally after this course?

It is certainly not the primary aim of the course to train folks to read Tarot professionally, but if that is your goal, it will support you in knowing everything you need for your first steps into readings with folks. Many, many people who took this course last year have stepped into their Tarot businesses and are thriving, so if you keep up with the coursework, it is totally possible!

Will I receive a certificate, or be a certified reader after this course?

No. I do not provide certificates for my courses. If you need that, there are plenty of folks who provide it!

How can I connect with other students?

There is a private community connection page for students to engage in! For the last two years, the FB group was a deep, rich highlight for everyone in the course, and so many friendships and soul connections were made. We will not be using Facebook for the course in 2019 and beyond, and will be shifting to Mighty Networks for community connection and discourse.

Are there scholarships available?

Yes! They will be made available on February 1st.

Can I sponsor someone's tuition or purchase of a deck?

Hell yes!! Thank you so much for your thoughtfulness and generosity! If you're currently feeling blessed with financial abundance, please consider donating any amount to the Soul Tarot Scholarship fund here. You may also sponsor someone to participate in the course who could not afford it without your contribution.

Your contribution will help make courses accessible to more individuals from all circumstances and backgrounds, and will help folks receive a deck for this course who cannot afford one.

Are there discounts available?

There are no discounts available for the course, but we have created a very generous payment plan to hopefully create more ease in affordability.

Can I share your course material with a friend?

No, you may not share any materials provided to you in this course (other than your answers to the questions in the workbook) with any person who has not paid for it. Out of respect for me, my work, my time, and any person creating something from their heart and soul, please do not share this with anyone who has not paid for it.

Do you offer refunds?

Please deeply consider your needs before joining the course. There are no refunds, and payment plans may not be canceled once they have been initiated.

Can I listen or watch the videos offline?

Yes! All class materials are downloadable -- once you download the videos, they are totally watchable offline.

Is there closed captioning available?

Yes! There is closed captioning for every video and piece of audio.

What is the format of the workbook? Can it be printed?

The workbook is a downloadable, editable PDF with fill-in spaces, so you can write out answers on your computer. It is possible to print out the workbook. Some past participants have done that and even gotten it bound. That said, the workbook is close to 100 pages, so you'll know what will suit you, your learning and your budget best.

How many hours should I budget for the course, per week?

Between one and three hours, depending on the subject we are covering that week.

How does the payment plan work?

You sign up for the payment plan when you sign up for the course. You will be charged the first payment when you sign up (payment one), and then your subsequent payments will be automatically debited every month after that, depending on the payment plan you choose. More info about those options will be posted on February 1st.

Can I gift the course to someone I love?

How thoughtful and generous you are! The easiest way to gift Tarot for the Wild Soul to your friend/family member/lover/partner/boo is to sign up with their name, their email and your credit card information. If you've like to surprise them on a certain day (within the enrollment window), simply wait to sign up on that day! Email info@lindsaymack.com if you have questions about this process.

When will you do this course again?

It will happen every Spring from here on out, starting on March 21st.
