Tarot Anchoring is a helping practice that I unwittingly developed when I was working with my deck during a particularly distressing time.
I was activated, stressed, and triggered by every card I pulled for myself around this particular time. The “sweet” cards mocked my pain. The “spiky” cards plunged me into fear. The more ambivalent cards made me feel abandoned. I knew that I wanted to stay connected to my deck, but my usual method of pulling cards for myself was not working. It was from this experience that Tarot Anchoring (and Anchor Cards) was born.
Tarot Anchoring is a beautiful and transformative practice that can help us to become more intimate with certain Tarot cards, and can assist us in staying tethered to our decks, especially in moments when standard Tarot readings might feel too overwhelming or inaccessible for our nervous systems.
In our live, three-hour workshop with Lindsay, we will dive into the theory and practice of Tarot Anchoring, how it works, and how folks can use it for themselves. Participants will be guided on ways to form and choose an Anchor for themselves around two scenarios: 1. a tricky, or challenging situation that they are moving through, where they’re desiring support, and 2. a North Star and guidepost for them through 2024 and the year ahead. Participants will get a chance to connect with one another about their Anchor Cards, and to ask Lindsay lots of questions about the process.
Tarot Anchoring will contain the following material:
A live, three-hour workshop about the art, practice, and theory of Tarot Anchoring, as developed and taught by Lindsay Mack (class will be recorded for participants who can’t join us live!)
A chance to practice and connect with your fellow students, and ample time for coaching and questions with Lindsay
A memorization guide for quick summaries on each of the cards at hand, and worksheets to support your Anchor Cards practice

Lindsay Mack

As a joyful survivor of childhood abuse, C-PTSD, and chronic pain/illness, Lindsay is passionately dedicated to honoring and helping to bring space, light, and healing to those who are experiencing mental, emotional, or physical suffering. Through their work with Soul Tarot School, Lindsay has trained and taught tens of thousands of people, many of whom have gone on to teach and read professionally.

Payment Plans: Payment plans may not be canceled once they have been initiated.
